The early morning of June 23 2006 featured a power outage on Ios. This is quite common among the Greek islands. People took to the streets as the music died in the clubs. Some people thought this was a perfect moment for some stage diving into the crowd.
They jumped from the small chapel by The Main Square into the arms of the drunken tourists bellow. What a great way to kick of the Swedish Midsummer day celebrations on Ios that year as this great party was only hours away.
It should not be hard to reenact this moment on the island this summer if you are up for it. The Main Square of Ios is always packed with people so lets make this a tradition. Or maybe that is not one of my brightest ideas.
